Paris to La Ciotat, September 6

We were concerned at how long the trip to Orly airport to catch an 11:40 plane would take so we scurried out the door a little before 9am. We got to the airport in plenty of time to: print out our boarding pass [pre-filled by us] and our baggage tag which we put on our suitcases. We then went to the baggage deposit where we scanned out boarding passes, confirmed those in our travel group and deposited our own bags in the chute for travel. The plane was then one and a half hours late departing!

We had to then travel from Marseilles to La Ciotat. So, using an Australian website called rome2rio [love the name] we caught a bus from the airport to Marseilles station, a train to La Ciotat station, then a bus down into the town port area. We then walked to the hotel.
