Petit Palais

The Petit Palais houses the Musée des Beaux-Arts de la Ville de Paris. This includes many Impressionist paintings and a beautiful collection of Art Deco including furniture of Helmut Guimard – the Metro railings designer.

 

 

 

 

Hotel Crillon is being renovated. We love the “dust collector” they have put around it.

We walked home through increasing drizzle. We went to see how La Canopée at Forum des Halles handled the rain, but there really wasn't enough.  The rain gathers down the roof and pours down a channel.  They would have fixed any problems in the June downpours.  Maybe tomorrow.
