Trans-en-Provence

This is a town with a lot of water. One fountain overflows and runs down the street. The town was known for its silk spinning until the 1940s. There are two old mills and the remains of what may be more along the river.

We walked up the hill to view Puit Aérien/Aerial Well. It was an experiment to see if moisture could be recovered at night to water crops during the day for use in Africa. Failed.
