Meandering Paris Day

This must be the shortest street in Paris - one building only.

The lingers sold the lingerie.  Gloves were on the other side of the street

Cultural Centre

La Samaritaine [department store], above and right, was closed in 2005 and in 2015 the renovation was started.  The building was a stunning example of art nouveau decoration and architecture.  The main building was galleries style with a glass roof.  We went to an audio visual display of the restoration process for the building, ironwork and enamelled stone decoration.

Rolling the clothes down into the building.
