the Friday Lorgues market

We walked into the town for coffee.  We saw children with vests carrying gardening gloves and garbage bags, and other children walking in class groups through town.  The discussion at lunch was - no idea what is was.

singing or miming Jaques Brel songs

The ladies siting at the next coffee table were part of a knitting group.  They were all knitting very fine wool scarves on circular needles.  They started before the day got too hot and a good social place to sit.

The Friday market is 2nd hand dealers at one end of the street and farmers market at the other end of the street.

We also went for a walk around the town before meeting the Gascards for lunch.  A lot of the fountains are dry or just dripping.  Some have taps to be turned on if you need water.   Plants?   A new fountain area is being constructed up the hill.  Maybe they found a new spring?
