Sunny market day

Orange alert storms have been forecast for a couple of days – maybe tomorrow. The Atlantic coast had 70,000 lightning strikes, a lot of rain and now has 120,000 homes without power.

We headed for the craft flea and market at Place de Verdun, but they are digging up the square. However there were plenty of other markets to see in the centre of town.

We finished the town walk, saw more fountains and a stunning green wall, the largest in France by Patrick Blanc.

Dinner was a salad box – one each. Salade Manhattan included pasta, egg, lettuce, chicken, vegetables, cheese, vinaigrette in a test tube, grissini and a cookie. We have tried a few boxes. They are good.
