After
the first shower in the apartment when we were ankle deep in water Geoff cleaned the
drains. French bathrooms don't have floor drains so any overflow
goes everywhere. Next he cleaned out the dishwasher. However when
we finally turned it on, it didn't work. Geoff downloaded
the
manual which didn't help. So this morning Geoff contacted our
landlord by phone and email who he said he would text us.

no water, the spring is dry
We went and had coffee while waiting for texts about the
dishwasher. The repairman has looked at it and will contact the
manufacturer. Then, as our morning was rearranged went for a
walk to Chapelle Saint-Ferriol, patron saint of the town, less than
one kilometre away. It is on top of a small hill and we walked out
of the village and up the straight, rocky path beside the Stations of
the Cross, The church which has murals was shut. It was a lovely walk through the countryside. The repair man
has turned off the power, can you turn it on in an hour and tell me
what happened? No change, the
same error message keeps coming up.

This afternoon was a mystery walk. Could we remember
where the small Casino supermarket was? Near a school on a road away
from the village. Found it. The repairman will be there at 5pm
tomorrow. Is that OK?
