Yesterday while waiting for the train
at Aix-en-Provence, two fully armed soldiers walked down the
concourse inside the building. About ten minutes later they came
back carrying four paper bags from Paul. Lunch.
It is quite cool and there are
fewer people in the streets this morning.
We went for a walk to BHV to do some shopping. Lunch at La Kantine on the fifth floor with a wonderful view of the Hotel de Ville and nearby buildings.

Everyone
is wearing puffa jackets, usually with horizontal puffs. They are
mostly quite short. Some motorcyclists have “aprons” over their
laps to keep warm, especially the ones who like to roar off at the
traffic lights.
