a slow walk around Grenoble

The fire alarm went off at 5:20am.  Obviously a false alarm – no smoke smell, Geoff did peek out the door, but it made for a slow start when morning really came.

We went for a walk for around old Grenoble.

And to the Archives for more dusty work.  Again, we have found everyone to be helpful.  They close as 5pm so we asked if we should order the documents tomorrow – no, start now and we will keep them at the desk.  These documents are bound into books, some pages are longer than the book so are cut across the bottom corner to fold up neatly.  One year done, nothing yet.
