Keeping cool - today was 32

We went back to the Archives first thing.  Well, we looked and looked, peering at size 8 copperplate for pages.  The last book had an index at the back [repertoire] which made checking fast.  It all made fascinating reading but did not find the information we had hoped.

So of course, off to the chocolate shop!  Jean Louis was a patissier/chocolatier in Melbourne.   After we ordered the young lady asked where we were from, we chatted about her trip to N.Z. and Australia, then bought us some “confit fruit cake”! Beautiful.  We doggy-bagged the chocolates.

very large Florentines!

We had lunch [a banana each] in the nearby park.

We caught two trams to the Musée de Grenoble, which we really enjoyed.  It is said to be one of the most prestigious in France.  We got through about half of the museum before brain overload hit.
