As we came out of the lift we nearly stumbled over a huge clochard sleeping on the floor. Someone didn’t close the street door properly. He wasn’t there when we came back.

It was Paris at play on Saturday – herds of runners, tai
chi, personal trainers, group trainers, pony rides.

We walked out of the park to see the recently
refurbished street art painting of Coluche, [d 1986] a comedian, up the step
risers.
