We
walked along the top of the considerable ramparts – four corner
towers, ten gates and two other towers. Before we started we could
see an award giving ceremony being set up. In many of the towers
there were videos and or displays. Several of the videos were about
salt, the local industry. We learnt a lot about salt tax.

We walked around the outside looking at all the waterways, canals and marshes. They do have mosquitoes.
