We walked up to the Boulangerie Snacking for breakfast. Ibis breakfast is 16€per person so we think we can
do locally. [7€for

We drove up to the Domaine de Charance [park] bought by the local council in the 1990s. The car park was packed as today they were running “vertical” fun runs.

We walked along the lake then around the beautiful terraced gardens.
Later we went on a very hot [its 32 today] walk around part of the old town.
In the evening we walked back to La Fameux Café du Lycee for dinner. It has been recommended by Le Guide du Routard since 2002. Well, we don’t think they have been checked this year. It took no effort to put smoked salmon on a plate, his with a lot of lettuce, hers with a leaf. The icecream was a formula – hers: chocolate with Chantilly, his: with banana and Chantilly drizzled with chocolate sauce. We asked for a plate so we could remove the cream. It was all OK for a hot night, but we won’t be back! However, the price was excellent!
